Solidarity for Afghan Families (SAF) in order to effectively implement its projects in line with contractual requirements, usually conducts performance review workshops through which the management teams of projects are invited and given the opportunity to share their achievements, concerns and challenges with the management board of SAF. Moreover, the performance review workshop is assumed as an effective tool for the management board of SAF to review the performances of projects and effectively plan for the next phase. It is worthy of mentioning that decisions in the performance review workshops are taken in a participatory manner.

The latest planning/performance review workshop conducted in SAF (from 10th March 2019 up to 12th March 2019), was mainly focused on the following objectives:

  1. To pave the way for developing a comprehensive and practical annual organizational plan in a timely manner.
  2. To review the performance of SEHATMANDI and other vertical projects of SAF in accordance with the contractual requirements.
  3. To exchange ideas for establishing an effective mechanism to apply pay for performance (P4P) within Jawzjan and Sari-e-Pul SEHATMANDI projects.
  4. To provide the field staff with the opportunities to raise/share their concern, issues, and questions with deferent sections (program and operation) of head office in an interactive way.
  5. To strengthen the communication and coordination between the main office and field offices of SAF.
